  Only visit Carpet King, and this location in particular, if you have a specific idea of what you will buy. Do not go here to get advice, and do not expect to get reliable information. And finally, do not trust them to sell you the correct accessories. I purchased some vinyl plank flooring. The salesman asked if the flooring would be meeting up with carpet - I said yes. He recommended a very specific piece of trim to me and said that it would work as a threshold between the vinyl plank flooring and the carpet. I ordered two pieces, totaling about $170. Once I installed the planks, it was clear that the trim I was sold would not work between the planks and the carpet. I attempted to return and/or exchange the *unopened* trim pieces multiple times. The salesman and the customer service manager (Giuliano P.) refused to work with me whatsoever, insisting that they could not accept returns on any special order items. I reasoned that, at best, the salesman had made a mistake in what he sold me. At worst, he had willfully misrepresented the product in an attempt to gain extra commission. In reply, Giuliano implied that I was going against my word by requesting a refund or exchange after having signed the special order form. Realistically, all I wanted was to get purchase the *correct* product. If that had happened, I would have been a happy customer and extremely likely to give more of my money to Carpet King in the future. Instead, here I am writing this review. Unfortunately, it's clear that Carpet King, Giuliano, and their salesman are more interested in pushing incorrect and unnecessary merchandise than they are in making their customers happy or maintaining any kind of trust between their company and their consumers. Even better when they can hide behind anti-consumer return policies. I was able to complete a chargeback on my credit card, which resulted in half of the amount being credited to me. I hope that $85 they were able to pilfer away from me is worth the negative word-of-mouth that I will spread at every opportunity.
